Dr. Kelley Burnett was born and raised in California and attended the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. She attended medical school at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internship at Muskegon General Hospital. Her pediatric residency was at Butterworth/DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Burnett moved to Grants Pass in 1996. She has been board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 1994. In 1999 Dr. Burnett was honored by the Children’s Miracle Network as an exceptional children’s physician. Besides her office practice, she regularly lectures at parenting classes and participates in a support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child. Dr. Burnett and her husband Al have three daughters, Reilly, Lily and Chloe (who died at 2 1/2 weeks of age). In her "free" time, she enjoys knitting, gardening, reading and music.
