Dr. Steven Marshak grew up on Long Island in a suburb approximately forty miles from New York City. He attended Muhlenberg College and graduated with a B.A. in 1993. After graduating he spent the next two and a half years working part time, engaging in community activities and taking science courses at the local universities. Dr. Marshak then attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and received his degree in 2000. His pediatric training took place at Maimonides Medical Center, Infant’s and Children’s Hospital of Brooklyn, New York. He was board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2003. Dr. Marshak and his wife Elizabeth have two wonderful children. In his spare time Dr. Marshak enjoys playing with his kids, hiking, skiing and playing basketball.
