Salma grew up in the United Arab Emirates. She and her husband Daniel moved to Grants Pass in the summer of 2013, and have had two daughters since, Dia and Sara, and son, Jad. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her girls to playgroups and activities, family lake trips, skiing, meeting new people and meals out with friends. Salma served as a volunteer at a free medical clinic for uninsured migrant workers and their families. She was part of a medical staff team at a summer camp for children with special needs for 4 weeks which included providing medical care to children during Camp Kydnie (Kidney disease), Camp Dost (Cancer), Camp JRA (Arthritis) and Camp Spifida (Spina Bifida) – Camp Victory.

Haifa Jaedi, M.D., was born in Milano, Italy and grew up in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Jaedi, with her husband Mohamed and two kids Melek and Omar, moved to Grants Pass, Oregon in the summer of 2016. She enjoys spending time with her children as well as reading, swimming and cooking Italian and Mediterranean dishes.

Trevor Washburn, M.D. was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He served a two-year mission in Novosibirsk, Russia and later graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in physiology and developmental biology. Dr. Washburn returned to Chicago to attend Rush University Medical College. His pediatric training was completed in Peoria, IL at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois. Dr. Washburn and his family moved to Grants Pass in 2021 and are excited to be a part of the Siskiyou Pediatric Clinic. He and his wife Krista have two daughters. They enjoy getting outside as much as possible, cooking together, and serving in their church and community.

Samantha Ferguson, MSN, RN, CPNP is originally from Iowa where she received an undergraduate degree in sociology before entering the nursing field. She moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2003 where she worked as a pediatric nurse for over 15 years caring for children of all ages from premature infants to young adults in the hospital setting. She also traveled to Kenya and Haiti multiple times with medical teams to provide care in local villages.
Samantha advanced her education to become a certified pediatric nurse practitioner (CPNP) in 2018 and moved to upstate New York where she provided pediatric procedural sedation services. She specialized in helping children with autism and developmental behavioral issues complete needed bloodwork, vaccinations, and other medical procedures that they would have otherwise not been able to receive.
Longing to return to Oregon and a desire to build community, Samantha joined the team at Siskiyou Pediatric Clinic in 2023. She enjoys all the pacific northwest has to offer and simply seeing the beauty of the trees on the mountains every day. Samantha explains, “Oregon has always felt like home in my heart and Grants Pass is a lovely place to call home.” Samantha and her husband have been married for nearly 30 years and have 4 children who all share a love for Oregon as well.

Michelle was born and raised in a suburb of Memphis, TN. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Mississippi College and began her medical career working in the NICU. She later obtained her MSN from the University of South Alabama as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
Michelle and her family then moved back to their hometown of Southaven, MS where she worked at a pediatric clinic for about 8.5 years.
Michelle, Jeremy, and their 4 children (Julia, Noah, Olivia, and Jude) moved to Grants Pass in the fall of 2023 and are excited to be a part of the Siskiyou Pediatric Clinic.
In her spare time, she enjoys exploring outdoors, baking, and making memories with her family.
