Samantha Ferguson, MSN, RN, CPNP is originally from Iowa where she received an undergraduate degree in sociology before entering the nursing field. She moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2003 where she worked as a pediatric nurse for over 15 years caring for children of all ages from premature infants to young adults in the hospital setting. She also traveled to Kenya and Haiti multiple times with medical teams to provide care in local villages.
Samantha advanced her education to become a certified pediatric nurse practitioner (CPNP) in 2018 and moved to upstate New York where she provided pediatric procedural sedation services. She specialized in helping children with autism and developmental behavioral issues complete needed bloodwork, vaccinations, and other medical procedures that they would have otherwise not been able to receive.
Longing to return to Oregon and a desire to build community, Samantha joined the team at Siskiyou Pediatric Clinic in 2023. She enjoys all the pacific northwest has to offer and simply seeing the beauty of the trees on the mountains every day. Samantha explains, “Oregon has always felt like home in my heart and Grants Pass is a lovely place to call home.” Samantha and her husband have been married for nearly 30 years and have 4 children who all share a love for Oregon as well.
